The feed shoe is the core component for achieving uniform distribution of slurry in the filter press, and is located at the feed end of the filter plate group. 

Its function is to evenly distribute the high-pressure slurry to each filter chamber through the internal tapered flow channel and guide structure to avoid filter cloth damage or filter plate deformation caused by bias flow or excessive local pressure. 

The feed shoe is lined with wear-resistant materials (such as polymer composites or ceramic coatings) to resist slurry erosion and wear and extend its service life. Its structural design must take into account the fluid mechanics characteristics to ensure that the slurry forms a stable flow state during dynamic filtration and reduce turbulent resistance. 

At the same time, it balances the feed pressure of each filter chamber to ensure uniform formation of the filter cake, which directly affects the filtration efficiency, filter cake moisture content and equipment operation stability of the filter press, and is a key component for optimizing the solid-liquid separation process.
