The cloth clamp is the core component used to fix and seal the filter cloth in the filter press. Its functions are mainly reflected in three aspects: 

 First, the filter cloth is accurately fixed to the edge of the filter plate through mechanical clamping force to ensure that the filter cloth does not move or wrinkle during high-pressure filtration (usually 0.6-2.0MPa), maintain the sealing of the filter chamber, and prevent slurry leakage.

Second, the specially designed clamping structure (such as serrated strips or elastic locks) can adapt to filter cloths of different thicknesses (0.5-3mm), forming a continuous sealing belt when the filter plate is closed, blocking the bypass of solid particles and ensuring the filtration accuracy (up to μm level).

Finally, the cloth clamp made of corrosion-resistant alloy or engineering plastic can still maintain a stable clamping force under frequent opening and closing conditions (200-500 cycles per day on average), extending the service life of the filter cloth (usually increased by 30-50%). At the same time, the modular design supports quick replacement and significantly reduces maintenance downtime. It is a key structural component for the efficient operation of the filter press.
