Filter press Oil seal ring

The oil seal ring plays a key dynamic sealing role in the filter press and is mainly used in moving parts such as hydraulic cylinder piston rods and feed pump bearings.

Its core function is to form a directional sealing interface through the elastic lip and the rotating/reciprocating motion surface to effectively block the leakage of hydraulic oil and the invasion of external pollutants. 

Under the high-pressure (0.6-2.5MPa) filtration conditions of the filter press, the oil seal must have the ability to resist extrusion deformation. The material is mostly fluororubber (FKM) or hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR) to withstand high temperatures of 120°C and acid-base media.

The spring-enhanced structure can compensate for the gap caused by axial vibration and ensure continuous and effective contact between the sealing surfaces. Failure will directly lead to loss of pressure in the hydraulic system, lubrication failure, and solid particles invading the bearings, causing equipment shutdown. The optimized design of the oil seal ring can improve the stability of the filter press system and reduce the maintenance frequency by about 40%.
